Das Bodenschutzkonzept Stuttgart (BOKS) – Monitoring der Bodeninanspruchnahmen 2006 und 2007

Seit Mai 2006 ist das Bodenschutzkonzept Stuttgart (BOKS) durch Beschluss des Gemeinderats Bestandteil der Bauleitplanung. Es verfolgt klare Ziele und dient als Planungs- und Entscheidungshilfe. Die Umsetzung des Bodenschutzkonzepts wird durch ein Monitoring begleitet. Dabei werden die Bodeninanspruchnahmen von Fall zu Fall qualitativ bilanziert und in Bezug zum örtlichen Gesamtvorrat an Bodenqualität gewertet. In jeweils zweijährigen Beobachtungsintervallen kommen eine Analyse der Bodeninanspruchnahmen und eine Erfolgskontrolle hinzu. Seit Mai 2008 liegt die erste Bilanz aus den Jahren 2006 und 2007 vor. Auf eine kurze Einführung in das Funktionsprinzip des BOKS folgt eine Beschreibung der vergleichsweise positiven Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse.

Since May 2006 the Stuttgart Soil Protection Concept (Bodenschutzkonzept Stuttgart = BOKS) is a component of the urban land-use planning by the City Council of Stuttgart. It pursues clear objectives and provides a support for planning and decision processes. The practical application of the soil protection concept is attended by a monitoring. Thereby each soil use is balanced and evaluated in relation to the local inventory of soil quality. Every second year the monitoring is completed by an analysis of the soil use and a control of success. Since May 2008 the first evaluation of the years 2006 and 2007 is available. On a short introduction of the functional principles of the BOKS follows a description of the comparative positive experiences and results.
