Noch ein Vorschlag zu „Willehalm“ 2,16f.

Nach einer Sichtung bestehender Ansätze wird eine neue Deutung einer für den „Willehalm“-Prolog zentralen Formulierung vorgeschlagen. Die Verse 2,16f. werden als dessen Abschluss auf den Schöpfungspreis 2,2–2,15 bezogen. rehte schrift wird demgemäß als des dreieinigen Gottes in die Natur eingeschriebene Offenbarung verstanden (geistliche Denkform „Buch der Natur“), durch die Gott sich einem Leser offenbart, der seine Erkenntnis nicht aus den buochen (2,19) bezieht.

An examination of existing approaches is followed by a new interpretation of a central formulation in the prologue of Willehalm. Verses 2,16f. are seen as the conclusion of the Schöpfungspreis (praise of creation) 2,2–2,15. Accordingly, rehte schrift is interpreted as the revelation of the Holy Trinity in nature (according to the clerical way of thinking, the “book of nature”), by which God has revealed himself to readers who do not gain their knowledge through books (den buochen, 2,19).
