Exklusive und inklusive Konsoziationsmodelle und Lizenzen höfischer Minnekommunikation

Die Studie fächert das bislang kaum beachtete semantische Spektrum von mhd. friunt im Minnesang von den Vorstellungen ‚Geliebter‘ bis ‚werbender Verehrer‘ sowie vom einzelnen Werbenden bis zu einer Mehrzahl von Verehrern auf. Nachgezeichnet werden so Logiken von Integration, in denen der werbende Sänger in den Kreis der Höflinge eingebunden bleibt und sich aus ihm nur graduell abhebt. Minnesang wird als semantische Ressource für höfische Selbstentwürfe aufgefasst, die auch Lizenzbereiche für vertrauliche Kommunikation vorsehen.

The semantic range of MHG friunt in Minnesang has hitherto attracted little attention among researchers. This study differentiates the semantic range of the word from the concepts of ‘lover’ to ‘wooing admirer’, as well as between an individual suitor and a number of admirers. This enables us to trace different logics of integration, in which the wooing singer remains integrated in the circle of courtiers, from which he can distinguish himself only gradually. Minnesang is seen as a semantic resource for courtly self-styling which also contains spaces for confidential communication.
