Praxistest Bio-Beutel

Kreislaufwirtschaft mit kompostierbaren Obst- und Gemüsebeuteln

Gemeinsam mit neun Partnern hat C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. von Dezember 2020 bis Februar 2022 das Modellprojekt „Praxistest Bio-Beutel – Kreislaufwirtschaft mit kompostierbaren Obst- und Gemüsebeuteln“ durchgeführt. Im Rahmen des Projekts stand den Bürgerinnen und Bürgern aus Straubing in den teilnehmenden Märkten der kompostierbare Bio-Beutel zur Verfügung. Im Sinne der Kreislaufwirtschaft sollte der Bio-Beutel zum Verpacken und Frischhalten von losem Obst und Gemüse, zum Sammeln von Bioabfällen und zur Entsorgung in der Biotonne verwendet werden. Bioabfall- und Kompostanalysen sowie Umfragen lieferten Erkenntnisse zur Qualität der kommunal gesammelten Bioabfälle und zur Akzeptanz der Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher.

Together with nine partners, C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. carried out the model project „Field test Bio-Beutel – circular economy with compostable fruit and vegetable bags“ from December 2020 to February 2022. As part of the project, the compostable organic bag was available free of charge to the citizens of Straubing in the participating markets. In the spirit of the circular economy, the organic wastebag should be used to pack and keep fresh loose fruit and vegetables, to collect organic waste and to dispose it in the organic waste bin. Biowaste and compost analyses as well as surveys provided insights into the quality of municipally collected biowaste and the acceptance of consumers.
