Wissensintegration und -koproduktion in der transdisziplinären Forschung

Skizze eines linguistischen Forschungsfeldes zur kommunikativen Genese transformativen Wissens für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung

Vor dem Hintergrund aktueller gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen zeichnet der Beitrag nach, wie sich das Verständnis und die Aufgaben von Wissenschaftskommunikation verändert haben, um den Ort zu bestimmen, an dem neue, partizipative Formate der Wissensproduktion entstanden sind, die etablierte Grenzziehungen zwischen interner und externer Wissenschaftskommunikation unterschreiten. Mit Bezug auf die transdisziplinäre Forschung wird daran anschließend exemplarisch dargestellt, inwiefern Sprache und Kommunikation konstitutiv sind für die Integration und Koproduktion von Wissen im Kontext einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung. Da bisher keine empirischen Untersuchungen zu partizipativen oder transdisziplinären Formen der Wissensproduktion aus linguistischer Perspektive vorliegen, wird ausgehend davon ein Rahmen für die künftige Erschließung skizziert. Mit Bezug auf das normative Leitbild der Nachhaltigkeit ist die Linguistik hierbei u. a. aufgefordert, sich selbst als transformative und engagierte Wissenschaft zu positionieren.

Against the background of current societal challenges, the article outlines how the understanding and objectives of science communication have changed. The aim is to identify where new, participatory formats of knowledge production have emerged which cross established boundaries between internal and external science communication. With reference to transdisciplinary research, we then illustrate with examples the extent to which language and communication are constitutive for the integration and co-production of knowledge in the context of sustainable development. As there are no empirical studies of participatory or transdisciplinary forms of knowledge production from a linguistic perspective at present, these findings serve as a framework for future exploration. The field of linguistics is challenged to position itself as a transformative and active discipline with reference to the normative concept of sustainability.
