Zur Systematik der Kompositionsstammformbildung bei N+N-Komposita – Implikationen für den DaF-Unterricht

Im DaF-Unterricht erwerben Lernende N+N-Komposita holistisch über das Referenzobjekt. Schwierigkeiten bereiten dabei zum einen die unterschiedlichen Fugenelemente bei demselben Erstglied in unterschiedlichen Zusammensetzungen und zum anderen die Form-Funktions-Diskrepanz bei solchen Fugenelementen, die paradigmatisch Flexionselementen gleichen. Fokussiert man stattdessen die Kompositionsstammform, ergeben sich von Flexionsinterpretationen unabhängige Regularitäten, die diasystematisch variieren. Dies wird in dem Beitrag anhand von Korpusuntersuchungen für verschiedene Varietäten demonstriert. Lernende erwerben somit Kompetenzen für unterschiedlich motivierte Kompositionsstammformen hinsichtlich des Gebrauchs bestehender und der Bildung neuer Komposita.

In the German as a foreign language classroom, learners acquire noun+noun compounds holistically via the object of reference. One of the problems that is frequently encountered is the fact that the same first constituent can take various linking elements in different compounds on the one hand, and the discrepancy between form and function of such linking elements which, paradigmatically, resemble inflection elements on the other hand. An approach that focuses on the compound stem rather than the first constituent, however, allows to detect regularities which are independent of inflectional interpretations and which vary diasystematically. In this paper, this is demonstrated for various varieties with the help of corpus analyses. Learners will, in such a way, acquire competence for forms of compound stems with different motivations in regard to the usage of existing, and the formation of new compounds.
